March, 2015
Marathon and half marathon training schedules are well under way now - Roxanne is going to be running (or some may say 'shuffling') around Silverstone Half Marathon later this month. Remember if you've upped your training recently it'll serve you well to plan in an occasional Sports Massage to your routine to avoid injuries.

"It was a pleasure to work with the Paralympic athletes from all nations and sports at the main polyclinic in the athlete village in Stratford, London last month. Their determination and spirit is truely inspiring and I trust that in some small way I helped them to achieve their goals."

August, 2012
Roxanne had a very successful 2012 Olympic Games working with the medical team for the Rowers and Canoe Sprint athletes at both Dorney Lake and the athletes' village.

She is looking forward to providing sports massage therapy for the disabled athletes at the Paralympic Games and will be based at the polyclinic at the Olympic Park in Stratford.

April, 2010
FANTASTIC RESULT *** Roxanne successfully completed the London Marathon on 25th April and has now raised well over 2,000 on behalf of the Disability Sport Events charity. Thanks to all who supported her and for all who have helped sponsor a fantastic cause.
January, 2010
Roxanne is in training (hard!) for the London Marathon in April and is aiming to raise

1,800 on behalf of the Federation of Disability Sport England and Disability Sport Event charities. Together they do a fantastic job in organising National Championships for disabled people in a variety of sports. These events provide pathways to international success, such as the Paralympics. Working with corporate and trust partners, they aim to increase participation and talent identification.
Working closely with some of the sportsmen and women at WAMSDAD, a local Sports Association for the disabled based in Winsdor, Maidenhead and district we at In Touch see how much sport means to many individuals and for those challenged with disabilities it can offer them a sense of purpose when faced with such adversity.

December, 2009
Well, the In Touch team completed their quest around the Look Out...we made quite an impression amongst the other 348 santas. Alex Rudolf Reindeer stole the show. He was rather lethargic though, and very heavy to tug around...we suggets he eats less mince pies next year!
Merry Christmas one and all.

November, 2009
In Touch will be running this year's Santa dash on behalf of Thames Valley Hospice, at the Look Out in Bracknell....but with a twist! Roxanne will be one of the 2 santa's in our team (aided in no small way by Dr Alastair Reece), pulling Alex (dressed as Rudolf) in a fantastic sleigh currently under construction by the talented Michael Reeve. Come join us on 29th November as we romp through the forest.
Ho, Ho, Ho!!!

Web Launch - 17th March, 2009
Welcome to the new In Touch website and branding. Hoorah, finally we launched. It's been a long time coming, but we hope that you will find the information useful and look forward to seeing and treating you soon.

Whilst I myself have been busy developing the site, my disable bodied helpers have been keeping themselves active in the field. Alex is aiming for another win in the forthcoming summer rifle shooting league. Having won Division 4 last year his expectations are high. He is keen to improve but faces stiff competition, not least from his fellow WAMDSAD shooters.
Following her previous Paralympic success at archery, and never one to be content with just one sport, Rebecca has now turned her attentions to rowing. She is currently attending coaching lessons at Dorney Lake (2012 Olympic rowing venue) and aiming for great things. Move over Sir Steve!!!
We wish her well and look forward to her initiation launch into the water with great anticipation...I am reliably informed that it should be any time soon so I'll try to catch that one on camera and post it to the site. ...

Talking of Dorney Lake, we are aiming to attend the forthcoming Duathlon/Triathlon and 10k Run events taking place there throughout the Spring & Summer to offer post race sports massage to the noble masses. Look out for us to relieve those tight and aching muscles.

And finally....
To celebrate our web launch, we are running an online competition to find the most inspirational photo of you or someone you know involved in any sporting activity.
The winning entry will be posted on the site, and the winner will receive a gift voucher for a 60 minutes Sports & Remedial Massage Treatment.
Two runners up will each receive a gift voucher for a 30 minutes Sports & Remedial Massage Treatment.

All entries should be sent to our general email address:, complete with your contact details, and must be received by 31.05.09. Winners will be selected and notified by 14.06.09.
